Brahma / ब्रह्मा

Brahma is the hindu god and the first member of the Hindu triad.
He is the supreme spirit manifested as the active creator of the universe.
He is said to have been born from an golden egg and then created the earth and all things on it.
Hence he is also known as Prajapati, the creator of the world.
He also created the ten Prajapatis or mind-born sons which then completed the creation.
Certain myths describe him as being born in a lotus which issued from Vishnu's navel.
Originally, Brahma had five heads, but one was cut off by Shiv with his left hand. His four heads now represent the four Veds, four Yugs and the four castes.
His vehicle is a swan.
