1930 - 6 months imprisonment and Rs 50 fine for participation in Salt Movement.
1934 - 2 years imprisonment for participation in Non-cooperation Movement (non-violent resistance).
1941 - 1 year imprisonment and Rs 10 fine.
1942 - placed under detention.
