1921 - 15 days imprisonment for participation in Non-cooperation Movement.

1930 - 3 months imprisonment for participation in Salt Movement.

1932 - 6 months imprisonment for participation in Non-cooperation Movement(non-violent resistance).

1941 - 1 year imprisonment and Rs 50 fine.

1942 - 2 months Kept under detention for participation in the Quit India Movement.
