Ikshvaku / इक्ष्वाकु
- Ikshavaku was the son of Manu Vaivasvat. He was the first king of the Solar Dynasty and established his capital in Ayodhya.
- After his father ascended to heaven, Ikshvaku performed many sacrifices and charitable deeds, and was blessed with a hundred sons.
- Ikshvaku also had a son named Vishal by the Apsara Alambusha.
