Jaimini / जैमिनि
- Jaimini was an ancient rishi (sage), a disciple of the great Rishi Vyas, the son of Rishi Parashar.
- He is said to have received the Samved from his master.
- He was also the founder of the Purvmimansa philosophy.
- Jaimini was present at the serpent sacrifice of Janmejay.
