1921 - imprisonment for participation in Non-cooperation movement.
1930 - 1 year imprisonment for participation in Swadeshi Movement (boycotting British products).
1932 - 1 year imprisonment and Rs 25 fine for participation in the Non-cooperation Movement (non-violent resistance).
