Madhusudan Kund / मधुसूदन कुण्ड

This Kund is situated south of Nandishvar, near Yashoda Kund and lies within a grove of trees and creepers that are laden with many kinds of flowers. Here, intoxicated bumblebees always buzz around, drinking nectar from the flowers. Krishna plays with the sakhas in this forest and imitates the buzzing of the bees. One of the names for bumblebee is madhusudan, and one of Krishna's names is also Madhusudan. This is where the two Madhusudans buzz, and this pond is therefore known as Madhusudan Kund.
