Prabodhanand Saraswati Place Of Bhajan / प्रबोधानन्द सरस्वती भजन स्थली

Near Luk Luki Kund, in a secluded, but naturally beautiful location is Shri Prabodhanand Sarasvati Place Of Bhajan. Shri Prabhodhanand was the spiritual master and paternal uncle of Gopala Bhatta Gosvami. He was a transcendental poet, well versed in all the holy scriptures. Radha-rasa-sudha-nidhi, Navadvipa Sataka and Vrindavan Sataka are some of the works of this great personality. In his famous Gaura ganoddesa Dipika, Shri Kavi Karnapura has mentioned that Prabodhanand Saraswati is the very talented Tungavidya Sakhi, one of the eight main sakhis in Krishna's pastimes. After Prabodhanand Saraswati heard Mahaprabhu speak Krishna Katha in Rangam, he left the sampradaya to become a follower of Mahaprabhu. When Mahaprabhu left Shri Rangam, Prabodhanand came to Braj and stayed for some time at this secluded place where he performed bhajan. In his last days, he came to Kaliya dah in Vrindavan. There he entered his eternal pastimes while performing bhajan. Today, one can take darsan of his Place of Bhajan and his samadhi there.
