Dhrishtaketu / धृष्‍टकेतु

  • Dhrishtketu was the son of Shishupal, the king of Chedi.
  • After Shishupal's death, Dhrishtketu was installed as king of Chedi.
  • When the Pandavs went into exile, he took his sister Karenumati, wife of Nakul, with him to his kingdom.
  • An ally of the Pandavs, he was killed in the Mahabharat war by Dron.
