1941 - 1 year imprisonment and Rs 100 fine for personal Non-cooperation Movement.
1942 - Placed under detention for participation in uit India Movement.
1952 - elected to Lok Sabha from Jalesar.
1962, 1970, 1980 - elected to Lok Sabha from Mathura.
Held the post of Managing Director, Co-operative Bank, Mathura continuously for 25 years.
