1930 - 1 year imprisonment for participation in Swadeshi Movement (boycotting British products).

1932 - 6 months imprisonment and Rs 50 fine for participation in the Non-cooperation Movement (non-violent resistance).

1941 - Rs 50 fine.

1942 - Kept under detention for participation in the Quit India Movement.
