Hidimb / हिडिम्ब
- Hidimb was a Daemon (Rakshas) living in a forest near Varnavat. When the Pandavas escaped from the wax palace, they hid in the forest.
- Smelling humans, Hidimb sent his sister Hidimba to bring them to her.
- But Hidimba fell in love with Bhim.
- Hidimb, wondering why his sister was delayed, came there himself. He attacked Bhim, who dragged Hidimb away from the Pandavs and killed him in the fight that ensued.
