Sanjay / संजय
- Sanjay was a Sat, son of Gavalgan.
- He was granted celestial vision by Vyas so that he could relate to Dhritrashtra the happenings at Kurukshetra, the site of the Mahabharat war.
- After the war, when Dhritrashtra retired to the forest, he insisted on following him, where he served the blind king.
- On Dhritrashtra's insistence, he escaped the forest fire and after informing the Brahmans of the death of Dhritrashtra, Gandhari and Kunti, he went to the Himalaya mountains.
