Shachi / शची

Shachi was a daughter of the demon Puloma.
She was the queen of Indra and the mother of his son Jayant.
When Indra had hidden himself to get absolved from the sin of killing a Brahman, Shachi sought the protection of Brihaspati.
With the help of the latter, she managed to quellthe advances of Nahusha.
