Vaivaswat Manu / वैवस्वत मनु
- Vaivaswat was the son of Surya by his wife Sangya.
- He is the Manu of the seventh or present Manvantar.
- Vaivasvat had sixty sons by his wife Shraddha.
- While the others perished quarrelling among themselves, the following ten of them survived, namely, Vena, Dhrishnu, Narishyan, Nabhaga, Ikshvaku, Karusha, Saryati, daughter named Ila, Prishadhru and Nabhagarishta.
- Vishnu assumed the Matsya Avtar in this Manvantar.
