Gendo / गेंडो

  • This village lies three miles east of Sanchuli Gram near of Nand Gaon and Barsana. Krishna and Baldev used to play ball games here with the sakhas.
  • Genda means "ball". This village has seven ponds.
  • Genda-kund, which is where Shri Balaram used to stand when they played ball games, is in the north of the village; and Genda-khor, which is where Krishna used to stand, is in the north-west.
  • Gaidharavan is in the east, Belvan-kund is in the south, Gopi-kund is in the south-west, Jalbhara-kund is in the west, and vihar-kund is in the north-west. The gopis filled their pots with water (jal bharna) from Jalbhara-kund.
