Satoya / सतोया

  • This village lies two miles west of Meheran Gaon in area of Barsana. It is also called Satvasa.
  • At this place, Maharaja Satrajit, the father of one of Shri Krishna's queens named Satyabhama, worshipped the Sungod. Over the years, the word satra has evolved into the name Satvasa.
