- Before the arrival of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in Vrindavan, Shri Lokanath Goswami and Shri Bhugarbha Goswami came here.
- Being very humble and without any possessions , they performed bhajana at the many pastime places in Braj Mandal.
- Later, on the request of Rup Goswami, Sanatan Goswami and the other Goswamis, he brought his worshipful Shri Radha-Vinod to Vrindavan and began to worship Them near the temple of Shri [[|Radha Raman Temple|Radha Raman]].
- Nowdays, the original deity that was worshipped by Shri Lokanath Goswami is in Jaipur, and the pratibhu-vigraha is worshipped in that same temple in Vrindavan.
- Shri Gokulananda, who appeared at Shri Radha-kund through Shri Vishvanath Chakravarti Thakur, also arrived in this temple later on. The Govardhan-shila given by Shriman Mahaprabhu to Shri Raghunath das Goswami used to be present here.
- The original deity of Shri Gokulananda is now also situated in Jaipur with Shri Radha-Vinod. In the courtyard of the temple are the samadhis of Shri Lokanath Goswami, Shri Narottama Thakur and Shri Vishvanath Chakravarti Thakur.
