Urmila / उर्मिला
- In Hindu epic Ramayana, Urmila was the daughter of King Janak of Mithila and the younger sister of Sita.
- She was married to Lakshman, prince of Ayodhya.
- When Lakshman followed Ram to the forest, she was left behind at Ayodhya by her husband.
- After fourteen years, Lakshman was back and they had thereafter two sons, Angad and Chandraketu.
